"I got your back brother"

I am glad to know that you are my blood and a
reliable pillow to rest my head .
I am glad to know that I can hold your hands and
not shiver or shake.
I am happy to know that I can trust you with all my heart and soul.
Like the giant trees of the land shelter great birds in the sky,
I will hold you in my mind.
I will lean on your broad shoulder in the times of need;
Contrary to vain voices of the society, you have never seen my desperation to reach out to you in the times of weaknesses as an act of cowardice.
You have not called me names for needing your support when I couldn't walk.
You have never held back from answering me whenever I called.
You have proven that man is good to man and we are family.
In the invasion of silence, I can hear the echoes of your courageous and caring words.
They are life.
You have never judged me with hate, your rebuke has always been for the love's sake.
For all these, I promise you that I will be there whenever you need me.
I will hold on to you with every breath of my life,
I will never let go.
I will hold you like the roots hold soil.
I will hold you like the sea holds fish.
Like the sunlight of day and the moonlight of night, you have been the stem of my tree of life.
I am living because of the love that we have shared.
I have got your back, my brother.
