“limbs of legacy”
I have seen the blue moon in the eyes of the aging earth.
I have felt the purple sun in heart of winter.
I have thanked Heaven for the rain that wet the solid soil,
mourning mountains and thirsty trees.
But, not yet enough gratitude for the gift of mothers in the lake of life.
Tell you the truth I often wonder what the head will do without the neck.
What will the fish do without water?
I wonder the fate of valleys without mountains
I wonder how far the legacy can run without limbs.
I have questioned too many things about life.
Times the more questions I have is the more confusion I have faced.
But the tail and head of it is that I have come to see that life is nothing but a puzzle and every bit of it counts.
No matter the tough hands of the rain it will never wash off the tribal marks of zebra.
Nothing happens before its time.
No matter how late the sunrises, it will never set in the North; neither will it camp in the South.
In your eyes I see the trails of the past and future generations.
In your face I have seen the smile and pain of mother earth.
You have become the weak wind that holds the flying elephants.
I have seen the living limbs of legacy and I can’t help to think of mother’s
hands on the wheels of life. Dance on mothers without you the spherical earth would have turned to square.
Please don’t forget that no matter the size and training of the pig it never do the job of a tiger. You are the limbs of legacy.
